Computational method for solving weakly singular Fredholm integral equations of the second kind using an advanced barycentric Lagrange interpolation formula

Abstract In this study, we applied an advanced barycentric Lagrange interpolation formula to find the interpolate solutions of weakly singular Fredholm integral equations second kind. The kernel is interpolated twice concerning both variables and then transformed into product five matrices; two them are monomial basis matrices. To isolate singularity kernel, developed techniques based on a good choice different sets nodes be distributed over integration domain. Each set specific one arguments so that values never become zero or imaginary. significant advantage thetwo presented ability gain access algebraic linear system equivalent interpolant solution without applying collocation method. Moreover, convergence in mean maximum error norm estimation studied. illustrated four examples found strongly converging uniformly exact solutions.
